EQUISOLVAN® HAY CARE is a complementary feed for horses containing essential oregano oil and a mixture of flavoring compounds of natural origin. Applied to hay, EQUISOLVAN® HAY CARE binds dust and reduces germs and mold supporting normal respiratory function and increased vitality in horses.
The essential oil of the oregano plant in HAY CARE has a scientifically proven antimicrobial and fungicidal effect, thus supporting the horse’s intestinal health. Antimicrobial agents have the ability to destroy microbes (bacteria and mold) present on products. Its antioxidant power reduces free radicals, thereby strengthening the immune system. It improves the palatability of roughage and stimulates the appetite.
Feeding recommendation
Shake the product briefly before use.
To prepare the recommended 3 % spray solution, mix 1.0 oz (30 ml) of EQUISOLVAN® HAY CARE with 33.8 oz (1 liter) of water.
Distribute the prepared spray solution evenly over the entire hay ration using a pressure sprayer.
The spray solution is sufficient for approximately 22 – 26 lbs (10–12 kg) of hay, which corresponds to a daily ration for a 1,323 lbs (600 kg) horse.
The prepared spray solution should be used within three days.
